Salut, THERA-Trainer France
"THERA-Trainer France" started operating as a sales company on 1 April. The contracts were signed in March by medica's Managing Director Peter Kopf and French branch managers Joseph Hodgkinson and Philippe Boillon. "Now is the right time for us to strengthen our presence in the French market," says Kopf. "With THERA-Trainer France we can do much better in France. We want to use the market potential to the full and push our brand."
Becoming the world number one
France is one of medica's most important European markets. With this new company, THERA-Trainer intends to intensify its sales activities in France and, above all, to strengthen its brand presence. "So far, we have only sold cycling devices in France. THERA-Trainer France will accelerate the international marketing of our entire product range as well as the complete solution for neurological rehabilitation," explains Kopf. "In doing so, we want to take a significant step towards our vision of becoming number one in neurological and geriatric rehabilitation worldwide."
New shareholders have a vision
The idea of a French sales company came from Joseph Hodgkinson. He too sees a lot of potential here: "For me, THERA-Trainer France brings together the positive results of many years of work and passion with the vision of a successful future." Sales Director Philippe Boillon previously worked for Groupe Mediq, a large French trading company operating in the field of rehabilitation. He brings with him an extensive network within the industry. Boillon is convinced that the creation of THERA-Trainer France is the right decision: "Our experience in rehabilitation, the dynamism of THERA-Trainer France and our new technologies all contribute to our commitment to greater mobility."
The export business plays an important role for THERA-Trainer. International sales in more than 70 countries are mostly generated by long-term exclusive distributors representing THERA-Trainer in their respective markets.
