In connection with the sale of batteries or rechargeable batteries or with the delivery of devices containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, medica Medizintechnik GmbH is obliged to notify the customer of the following in accordance with the Battery Directive:

 

Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. As end consumer, the customer is compelled by law to return used batteries. The customer can return used batteries free of charge at the point of sale or in its immediate vicinity (e.g. at local collection points or in stores).

Batteries or rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are indicated by the crossedthrough waste bin symbol. The chemical name of the harmful substance can be found near the waste bin symbol. Explanation: Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
