In order to achieve holistic, intensive, continuous and effective improvements, THERA-Trainer offers a holistic treatment solution with balo, tigo and lyra, among others, which we use daily in our institutes in the therapy process with our patients.

We are delighted to be one of the first facilities in Austria providing therapy with the lyra. The implementation of end effector robotics is an important step in the overall care of our patients and enables state-of-the-art gait rehabilitation.

When I was allowed to go home after rehab, I was able to use a THERA-Trainer straight away. I trained two to three times a day with the device and was able to walk independently again after a short time.

Robot-assisted training has been a domain of gait rehabilitation for some time. It has to be said: the technology has no value in itself for rehabilitation. But for therapists and patients, it would be much more costly to achieve the same result with conventional therapy.

The device-supported gait laboratory at the Aatal Clinic Wünnenberg provides patients with brain damage with an effective measure of evidence-based gait rehabilitation. A treatment algorithm synthesizes suitable training programs; participants are categorized according to assessment and train in small groups in a goal-oriented manner.
