The THERA-Trainer bemo has been a great additional asset for providing salient therapeutic interventions in the inpatient rehabilitation setting at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. The bemo allows our therapy team to easily provide bedside therapeutic interventions to our patients who may have difficulty tolerating upright or out of bed positions for a variety of medical reasons. bemo’s easy to use features and easy set up over our patients’ bed allows it to be easily incorporated in our therapy team’s routine for appropriate patients. Additionally, the bemo has also allowed our therapy team at Burke to provide meaningful lower body cycling exercise for our dialysis patient population while they are actively receiving their dialysis treatments.
