Promoting well-being through movement: THERA-Trainer donates €2,500 at therapie Leipzig 2025
Hochdorf, 27.05.2025 (PresseBox) – With an active fundraising campaign at the therapie 2025 trade fair in Leipzig, THERA-Trainer made a strong statement for social responsibility and commitment to neurological rehabilitation. At the medical device manufacturer’s booth, visitors had the opportunity to get active themselves on the brand-new movement trainer THERA-Trainer toro – and do something good at the same time: for every minute pedalled, THERA-Trainer donated 5 euros to the SPORTnachSCHLAG project run by the German Stroke Foundation.
The campaign received an overwhelmingly positive response from the professional audience at therapie 2025 in Leipzig – Germany’s leading trade fair for medical rehabilitation, therapy, and prevention. Numerous visitors took the opportunity to test the new THERA-Trainer toro on site – gaining hands-on experience while also making a valuable contribution to society.
THERA-Trainer donated 5 euros for every minute of training – resulting in a total of 2,500 euros. This entire amount will go to SPORTnachSCHLAG, an initiative by the German Stroke Foundation. The funds will enable the establishment of five new rehabilitation sports groups, where stroke survivors can train together under expert guidance, improve their mobility, and experience social inclusion.
The official donation handover took place on May 10, 2025 – Germany’s nationwide Stroke Awareness Day. On the trade fair grounds, the THERA-Trainer team personally presented the symbolic donation check to the foundation.
“We are truly pleased with the response at the fair and the opportunity to make a concrete contribution to the aftercare of stroke survivors together with our visitors,” said Christine Hohensteiner, team manager Promotion & Communication at THERA-Trainer. “We firmly believe that progress in rehabilitation means not only technological innovation but also social commitment.”
THERA-Trainer extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in the campaign, as well as to the German Stroke Foundation for their valuable work. Together, we’ve taken an important step toward better aftercare and support for stroke survivors – a commitment that brings hope and clearly shows how much we can achieve together.
